This is a story of a Restoration

I restored this boat from April 2006 to October 2008. You will need to go to the very bottom, October 2008, to find the biginning. See blog archive on the right side.

Tarp and Dock rash on my boat.

This was caused when the tarp ripped on the way home from Texas, and the soot from the diesel engine entered and etched the varnish.

The same side, starboard, same problem.
While loading my boat at Texas, a dock hand let it get away and it smacked the concrete wall.

A little sanding with a sanding sponge, and a coat of varnish, and all is well.

Oh no! I would have been upset. Glad all is well!

I was upset when the guy lost control of the boat and it smacked the concrete dock, but I didn't let him know, he felt bad as it was. I have found that varnish is really easy to repair.

You sound so much like Lisa. I would be having a complete break down and she would just fix it. :-D
