This is a story of a Restoration

I restored this boat from April 2006 to October 2008. You will need to go to the very bottom, October 2008, to find the biginning. See blog archive on the right side.

Christening the boat.

Even before the boat was finished, my daughter Peggy wanted to do an official christening of the boat. We didn't get a chance to have her with the boat until September the 26th. I took the boat to Logan, UT, to Hyrum Lake and there we did the honors.

Nothing beats a good christening!

Hi Crash. "Beat" is the action word here. It took 5 strikes on a steel pipe to break that bottle. By then it was fizzed up real good, and it exploded all over me. And cut my finger.

I've been reading your posts, but I don't believe a word of them! Hee Hee

Arlon, I just found the link to your blog from Don D's forum. Sorry it took me so long. Glad to see you or Peg didn't lose an eye.

Perhaps I'll swing on by on my way to Tahoe. I dream of making that road trip some day.

Congrats on all the awards!
